DILG says potential school shooting, stabbing foiled in Leyte

MANILA — Authorities foiled a school attack threat in Leyte, the interior department said Thursday, just days after two teenagers shot and killed three students in the province. 

Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said Sen. Bam Aquino on Wednesday night called him with a tip that “there was chatter in Tacloban that there was an impending mass shooting that was about to occur”.
